Terms of Use

Agreement

By downloading or using Potato Labs ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

License

Potato Labs grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, subject to these terms and the Apple End User License Agreement (EULA), which is incorporated here by reference.

Permitted Use

• You may use the App for personal, educational, or professional purposes.
• You may generate speech from text you own or have the right to use.
• You may use voice cloning only with your own voice or voices you have explicit permission to clone.

Prohibited Use

• You may not clone someone else's voice without their explicit consent.
• You may not use the App to create deceptive, fraudulent, or harmful content.
• You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, or modify the App.
• You may not use the App to impersonate others or spread misinformation.

Subscriptions

If the App offers an auto-renewable subscription:

• Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID via the App Store.
• Your subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID account settings at any time.
• Free trial periods (if offered) convert to a paid subscription at the end of the trial unless cancelled beforehand.
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods, except where required by law.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its models, code, design, and bundled voices, is owned by Potato Labs and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership to you.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Potato Labs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Potato Labs operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
